If you play any wind instrument (Piccolo, Flute, Oboe, Cor Anglais, Bassoon, Clarinet or Saxophone) of brass instrument (Cornet, Trumpet, Horn {Flugel, Tenor, Baritone, French}, Euphonium, Trombone or Tuba) or percussion (drum kit or supplementary) and can read music (we're not looking for grade 8 sight reading just the ability to get it right after a few rehearsals) then we would love to see you in the band.  We play for the fun of it and are not constrained by any rules on the composition of the band, although we do  like to have a reasonable balance for the sake of musicality.

If you think that you might want to join (or you have any questions), contact the secretary by phone or e-mail to confirm that we are rehearsing on the next Wednesday and come along and play with us.  We don't charge a subscription for the first term, so that your only commitment will be of time.  After that it's £25/term for adults (£12.50 for students).

We have largely disposed of our instrument collection as we found there was very little call for them (an increasingly affluent society I suspect) although we do retain a bass clarinet, Tuba, glockenspiel and supplementary percussion.
